The London Beatles Day was founded in 1990 by Steve Holmes, Rob Batchelor, Keith Badman and Jason Hobbs who between them have attended many conventions
and fairs all over Europe and beyond!. The London Beatles Day
has been attracting Beatles fans from all over the globe ever
since, originally 2 shows a year were staged but due to increased
demand this was increased to the current 4 shows per year. This
enables fab 4 fans to come along and buy and trade their "fab's"
items on a regular basis keeping their collections updated, and
of course to come along to meet all the other fans & collectors
in the comfort of the recently refurbished Bonnington Hotel.
Over the past decade the event has attracted dealers from all
over Europe, Japan, Canada and the USA and collectors from all
these countries plus many more!!
We aim to attract the country’s leading Beatles dealers
to our show, often dealers from Europe attend and a vast range
of merchandise is offered for sale, from original items through
to recently licensed new merchandise. Our dealers will also buy
your unwanted Beatles items and offer you valuations.
Online purchasing & auctions are very convenient in the “
rat race” world we now live in, but there is no better way
than to come and see the item you are thinking of buying.
We are very pleased to welcome Guests to the “London Beatles
Day” – some we have known for many years now and consider
our friends.
Guests attending over the past years include the original 5th
Beatle, Pete Best; Freda Kelly, official fan club secretary; Hunter
Davies, official authorised biographer; “ Mr Fix it “,
Alistair Taylor; Quarrymen, Rod Davis & John Duff Lowe; Alf
“Baby you can drive my car” Bicknell as well as many
authors who have used the event to launch their books.
We are always looking for “Beatles people” to come
along and share their memories with us – our quest to track
down these people is never ending!!
The London Beatles Day is always held in the Bonnington Hotel
in the central west end (Southampton Row, WC1) of London, very
close to Oxford Street and theatre land (for theatre tickets &
information the hotels concierge can assist). The hotel hosts
a fine bar and lounge area ideal for a “Beatles Chat!”,
and for those who travel long distances bedrooms can be booked
direct with the hotel (+44) 0207 242 2828, remembering to ask
for the weekend special rates. The hotel is within walking distance
from Euston station, a short bus ride from Kings Cross, and 5
minutes walk from either Russell Square or Holborn underground.
Street parking is free on a Sunday and “congestion charge”
is not operative at weekends.
All in all the LONDON BEATLES DAY aims to ensure A SPLENDID TIME
IS GUARANTEED FOR ALL…………………………
